People may forget what you said or what you did, but they will never forget how you made them feel.

How to Book Patient Transport

You don’t need to have everything figured out

If you’re unwell, caring for someone else, or trying to organise transport after a hospital stay, it can be hard to know where to start.

If you think medically supervised transport might be needed — or you’re simply looking for a safe way to get home after discharge — you’re welcome to contact us.

You don’t need to know the right words or have all the answers. We’re happy to talk it through and help you understand the options.

Who Can Contact Us?

 Anyone can reach out.

Transport is often arranged by hospitals, doctors, or discharge teams — but patients and family members are also welcome to contact us directly to ask questions or explore whether our service may be suitable.

In some cases, a referral from a healthcare provider will be required before transport can go ahead. If that’s needed, we can help guide you through the process and, where appropriate, speak directly with your treating team

What Happens When You Get in Touch?

When you contact us, we’ll ask a few simple questions to understand the situation, such as:

  • who the transport is for
  • where the transport is needed
  • whether there are any medical or mobility concerns

From there, we can help explain:

  • whether medically supervised transport may be appropriate
  • what the next steps usually look like
  • whether a referral is required

There’s no obligation — reaching out doesn’t mean you’re locked into anything. It’s simply a way to get clear information and support.

If a Referral Is Needed

Some transports need to be arranged through a hospital or healthcare provider.

If this applies, we can:

  • explain what information is required
  • help you understand who to speak with
  • liaise with the treating team where appropriate

Our aim is to make things clearer and easier, not more complicated.

On the Day of Transport

If transport is arranged, our focus is on calm, respectful, and safe care.

On the day:

  • our clinicians will introduce themselves
  • your condition will be checked before departure
  • care will be provided throughout the journey as needed
  • a handover will occur at the destination.

Not Sure If This Is the Right Service?

That’s completely okay.

Many people contact us just to ask, “Is this something you can help with?”

If we’re not the right option, we’ll let you know and, where possible, help point you in the right direction.
